Our American government has become a daily circus lacking decorum and reason. We the People of the United States are tired of the lies and chaos.
The Truth has become self-evident that the administration in the White House does not know how to lead, is incapable of acting with wisdom, and eschews behavior that either demonstrates or elicits respect.
The Truth has become self-evident that nearly half of the Senate, amid a frenzy of party-line rhetoric, lacks the integrity to vote for what they believe is right, rather than blindly follow a misguided Pied Piper.
The Truth has become self-evident that the House of Representatives fails to grasp how to legislate in a manner consistent with the needs of the people who voted them into office – how to legislate in the manner most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
We the People of the United States cry, “Enough!” Enough of lies and ill behavior. Enough of bigotry and discriminatory executive decisions. Enough of secrecy and party-line politicking. What has become of thoughtful reason, collaboration, and common sense? What has become of respect and professionalism?
Many of you in Washington, D.C. appear to have gone mad, to have lost your senses and sensibilities. We the People of the United States hereby remind you that it is We for whom you work – all of US for whom you must exercise principles and powers most likely to effect our Safety and Happiness. We find the current situation untenable.
We the People of the United States are here to remind you that you are in Washington, D.C. to uphold the Constitution in the manner set forth by our founding fathers: to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.
We the People of the United States look to you to lead and to legislate with Honesty, Integrity, Wisdom, and Compassion in the best interests of those you were elected to represent and in the best interests of the Country We all Love.
